You know I don't know why they started cutting the pork chops as thin as paper it happened years ago but I missed when it happened and I do not like them like that this is one reason I like to come to shoppers corner I love to come and get my pork chops there because they are thick enough just the way I like them the people are very courteous and friendly, everyone knows what shoppers corner looks like so I'm sharing a little something of my own, I have over 500 drawings that I have done and they're just sitting here in my apartment I would sell them but with my anxiety and everything I cannot get out there and with the pain that I go through in my body I can't be out in the cold air to put up a stand or something so I want to share them with the world so this is one way that I found I can do it

Of course we all love this store. They have everything the floors are wood. The cashiers are usually attentive and the Butcher is world class.

Best Fish, meat, and chocolates in Santa Cruz! Also a superb and extensive wine selection. You can’t go wrong here. Really great local independent grocer with superior service.

Old school market with excellent wine and cheese offerings. Full scale butcher counter with multiple butchers who are friendly and helpful. Excellent produce with organic offerings. Super fresh and local. Fresh bread from local bakeries. Extensive offerings of olive oils, European foods, spices. Hardwood floors make shopping a pleasure.

Extremely friendly and well stocked market. The butcher counter is legendary. Although the store is fairly small, they pack an amazing amount of options in every category, at a fair price. The wine and liquor selection is unbelievable considering the size of the store. They offer weekly deals on numerous items with a larger markdown than most other supermarkets. Give it a try and you’re likely to make this your go to market in the future.

Although we have have been in Santa Cruz for a few months, this week it was the first time that I visited Shopper's Corner. Amazing place, I only went for meat because their butcher shop has a great reputation. It used the opportunity to browse, the meat shop is great with very nice cuts and great selections, next time I will buy the lamb. They have produce and everything else, all looks great and the wine selection is excellent. Since it is a short bike ride I will go more often. Prices are reasonable!

Five stars from me. Amazing fresh produce and outstanding butcher shop. Customer service and speed at checkout also 5 stars. Support local and independent. Shoppers do a fantastic job at providing quality products for the local community, they will always have my business.

I am a part time resident of Capitola and haven’t been in for over 30 years!!! The butcher department is one of the BEST I have ever purchased from. The butcher picked my rib eye steak which barbecued perfect! Then the blue cheese hamburger patty caught my eye. I just made the best burger I have ever had!!!!! As I was leaving I looked at the wine selection… that’s my next trip!!!!
